A Ku Indeed!

Goodnight Moon, er, Bush

Posted in Life, Politics by Chris on June 11, 2008

Most people with kids know the popular book Goodnight Moon. I’ve read it so many times I almost know it by heart. “Goodbye brush, goodbye comb…”

Goodnight Moon has been adapted for some funny political points into a new book, Goodnight Bush. It’s funny even if you don’t know the original, but familiarity with the original book does elicit a few more laughs!

Ah, Goodnight Moon. I’ve bought this book twice, because my son Siddhartha liked it so much he tore the first one to pieces (it must be that for 2 year olds tearing things apart shows true attachment to them) and still insisted we read it to him.

Parker has destroyed lots of books, but not Goodnight Moon. It’s a tough one to destroy — those pages are thick! Your son must be pretty strong!

Pretty funny that he tore it up and still wanted you to read it to him.
